The Beaumont Mayfair Unveils Multi-Million Dollar Renovation

The Beaumont Mayfair, a luxurious five-star hotel in London, is gearing up to celebrate its 10th anniversary in September. As part of the milestone celebration, the hotel is set to unveil a multimillion-dollar renovation that promises to take the guest experience to the next level.

One of the key highlights of the renovation is the addition of 29 new rooms and suites, bringing the total room count to 101. The existing 72 rooms have also undergone a refurbishment, along with the lobby, bar, and restaurant, giving the entire property a fresh and modern look.

The renovated hotel will also introduce Rosi, a new flagship restaurant that will serve up seasonal British comfort food. The restaurant will showcase murals created by British artist and designer Luke Edward Hall, telling the story of „a day in London“ through his unique and vibrant artwork.

Despite the modern updates, The Beaumont Mayfair is retaining its iconic art deco design. Guests can still enjoy amenities such as the Art Deco Hammam and Spa, Gatsby’s Room for Champagne Afternoon Tea, Le Magritte Bar with its extensive bourbon collection, and the Terrace, an alfresco cafe in Brown Hart Gardens.

The hotel’s suites offer guests a truly unique experience. The three-story ROOM, designed by sculptor Anthony Gormley, features a giant figure based on the artist’s body, dark oak walls, a white marble bathroom, and an exterior of welded plates of stainless steel. The presidential Roosevelt Suite has been redesigned with fabric-covered walls, bespoke furnishings, antique bronzed glass, silk window treatments, and art deco furniture, along with a private terrace offering stunning views of the city’s skyline.

The Beaumont Mayfair is not just a hotel; it is a living gallery of art and luxury. Original artwork adorns the walls, including ceramics and glass dating from the 1930s, a portrait of Eleanor Roosevelt by Kate Boxer, works by iconic artists like Alexander Calder and Robert Motherwell, as well as pieces by contemporary artists Colin Reid and Rana Begum RA.

The Beaumont Mayfair’s upcoming 10th-anniversary celebration and multimillion-dollar renovation are set to redefine luxury hospitality in London. With new rooms, flagship restaurant Rosi, and unique suite experiences, the hotel continues to be a beacon of art, design, and unparalleled luxury in the heart of Mayfair. Rates at The Beaumont Mayfair start from $647 for a Classic Room or $1,687 for a Classic Suite, including breakfast.
