Exciting Changes for the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival 2024

The Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival is set to return to the city in October, presenting its 17th Annual edition from October 17 to October 20, 2024. This year, the festival will be presented in partnership with a new sponsor, Invesco QQQ. The Brooklyn-based ETF will be bringing some exciting changes to the festival, as events will now take place in Brooklyn at the Invesco QQQ Campus at Brooklyn Army Terminal. This move will see a shift from the traditional Hudson River venues to the East River, with roughly 20% of the festival’s events being held in Brooklyn.

The festival will kick off with a new event called Brooklyn Eats & Beats, which will highlight the talents of Brooklyn chefs such as Esther Choi, Billy Durney, Sean Feeney, Mark Iacono, and Michael Solomonov, along with over twenty of Brooklyn’s most iconic restaurants. Notable cultural icons Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will also be in attendance, serving up their ready-to-drink cocktail, Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop.

In addition to the new Brooklyn venue, the festival will also make use of other exciting locations around the city. One such venue is the Hall Des Lumières in the Financial District, Manhattan’s largest permanent center for digital art and immersive experiences. Events at this space will include An Italian Tasting hosted by Gabriele Bertaccini and Alex Guarnaschelli, a Mediterranean Mezze Brunch presented by Michael Symon, Steak & Whiskey presented by A.1. Sauce hosted by Robert Irvine, and Tacos & Tequila.

At The Seaport’s Lawn Club, a variety of large-scale events will be hosted, including The Betty BOOze Harvest Happy Hour hosted by actress Blake Lively, founder of Betty Booze. Additionally, the 102nd floor of the One World Trade Center will host three festival events, including Asian Bites & Karaoke Nights, A Caviar & Cocktail Affair, and Halloween Sweets & Treats.

The Wall Street Hotel will serve as the Festival’s homebase, conveniently located within walking distance of many of the Manhattan venues. Proceeds from the festival will be shared with God’s Love We Deliver, a charitable organization.

For those interested in attending the festival, presale tickets will be available starting this Wednesday, July 10 at 9 a.m. ET until Sunday, July 14, offering a 20 percent discount on events held at the Invesco QQQ Campus at Brooklyn Army Terminal. General tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday, July 15 at 9 a.m. ET.

Overall, the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival 2024 promises to be an exciting and immersive experience, with a lineup of talented chefs, iconic venues, and engaging events to look forward to. The new partnership with Invesco QQQ and the move to Brooklyn signal a fresh chapter for the festival, embracing the rich culture of the borough and providing a platform for local talent to shine on a wider stage. This year’s festival is sure to be a must-attend event for food and wine enthusiasts alike.
